A psychedelic mudflat walk
Every year, some friends of ours organise a mudflat walk in the North Sea. It wasn’t until years later, whilst playing around with my favourite open-source image-editing programme at the time, ‘LightZone’, that I stumbled upon an editing preset for the photos from a 2012 walk to the Hallig Oland – a preset that, in a way, captures the mood of that walk on a hot, stifling day in a logically emotional manner. I saved this preset under the name ‘pop.paint’.
